The book is better

Warning: Spoilers
Another reviewer pointed out that there are 3 strands of focus to this film: Lee as reporter, as husband/father/son and as atheist investigator of the Christian religion. I wish they had concentrated on the last. Too much of the movie was spent focused on the relationship between Lee and his wife and the effect her new-found Christianity had on their marriage. His visits to experts felt rushed - he drove all that way to Wisconsin/California and wherever else and had a brief chat??? - and way too short and shallow to make much of an impact on anyone. A missed opportunity to air good arguments in support of Christianity. On the other hand it is a great story of a life changed and a marriage saved and the start of a whole series of books that have helped thousands of people.
