Well, I just gotta admit, for all the brains watching this show, NOBODY saw what had to be done. When Speckerman was leaving, instead of offering him a place for the night (during which he sobered up and then showed his real colors), The smart thing to do was walk down to his car with him, get his license number, and call the local constabulary. This accomplishes more than just a little revenge. It gets a drunk driver off the street, and maybe it wakes Speckerman up to the fact that he needs help.
This bully hadn't changed overnight, and he wasn't going to quit drinking and driving without a serious notice from reality. This wouldn't just be payback, it would actually be the right thing to do; given that everyone was scared of the creep.
