Nothing like sightseeing in our Nation's Capitol on a spring afternoon. .Gomer (Jim Nabors) and Sargent Carter (Frank Sutton) in Washington D.C. find a Japanese boy who claims he's lost. Sargent Carter fluent in Japanese was stationed in Japan after World War II and picked up the language as a surprised Gomer says GOLLY! The boy in Japanese is asked by the Sargent where he lives and the boy gives addresses to museums, amusement parks, points of interest and even a Washington Senators game. In between these excursions a frustrated Sargent Carter has a nice day planned with his local gal voluptuous girlfriend Rose (Allison Hayes). Between sights from phone booth to phone booth Carter calls her and re-assuring her that their date is still on despite the hours of Taxi rides through the Capital on the Asian boy's phony claims. Sadly this was one of Allison Hayes last performances as her health started to decline. Allison famous for her role as the Fifty Foot Woman a science fiction classic.
