This is the Elder Scrolls most popular game and arguably the best. It's very popular due to the nostalgia it brings. It also has a great soundtrack, which somewhat inspires the Skyrim soundtrack. But this game is highly overrated! The combat system sucks. It's a literal hit and miss. Even on low difficulty the game can be challenging. No fast travel except to pay to travel to cities. Mediocre graphics even for the time but excellent water animation. There are cheat codes on the PC version and there are Dwarven Ruins like in Skyrim but not Oblivion. The dark brotherhood outfit looks like the gimp suit in Grand Theft Auto II or Pulp Fiction. The dark brotherhood will attack you after sleeping or waiting and they'll get more powerful weapons and more members as you level up.
