Marsha Hunt has still got it. Never her saw her play this kind of character. And Eddie Muller can direct. I knew he appreciated Film Noir like nobody else but he's learned from the masters and can tell a powerful story on a low budget with punch. And Leah Dashe as Lulu, reminded me of Louise Brooks near the end of Pandora's Box when she meets a stranger. Too be honest I was impressed, but this film was little darker than I like. But many will be fascinated by the dark twist. Next, I would like to see the documentary about Marsha Hunt whose long career (over 70 years in films) was briefly interrupted by being black listed along with her husband. She survived and kept up the fight for compassion, understanding and justice. I bet she had fun making this film which is so against the type of sweet characters she is known for.
