I liked it a lot!

Warning: Spoilers
I actually had a lot of fun watching this and enjoyed it a lot! I won't put down any intentional spoilers. I don't know if there's really anything to give away anyway.

Of course, it's not a "documentary" but it really felt like one to me. I liked that it really did feel like an amateur idiot guy just trying to put together a ghost documentary. Lots of little embarrassing things were included that made it seem more real than scripted, like not being able to find the house right away and a natural dialogue that didn't feel scripted.

No cheesy stupid jump scares that I remember, just weird stuff going on that actually creeped me out. I think if you can suspend your disbelief and put yourself in their shoes, which is easy since it's from their point of view, you'll get creeped out, too.

My biggest problem is with the guy's attitude. It didn't bother me at all at first - I just felt like he was frustrated because things weren't working out as planned with his first attempt at trying to contact someone and then just that he was getting kind of scared and didn't want to admit it, but as the thing went on, he felt more and more like a whiny jerk to me, especially when barking out orders to his wife. In a way, that made it feel all the more real, him being an imperfect jerk, but it got on my nerves.

I actually would have liked to have seen more interaction with his wife because she played off him so well, but she made it pretty obvious that she wasn't a fan of being on camera. She was just helping him out and, despite her sarcasm, she was obviously supportive - and often unintentionally hilarious.

I've watched it a couple times now and will watch again. Definitely recommend for fans of these kinds of faux-paranormal movies.
