This pretty scattershot documentary tries to cover both the making of "28 Days Later" and the possibility of a pandemic wiping out the human race with decidedly mixed results. One key problem is the claim that something like foot and mouth disease mutating into a lethal virus that could be a threat to people isn't stated persuasively enough due to the too short twenty-four minute running time; something like this needs to be presented in more depth in order to state a credible case on its own behalf. Moreover, there isn't nearly enough behind the scenes footage on the making of "28 Days Later," although we do learn that the actors playing soldiers underwent military training and the reason the movie was shot on digital video was to give the picture a more plausible urban feel. This documentary would have benefitted from being at least fifteen or twenty minutes longer. As is, it's strictly so-so.
