Peter and Carter were outright despicable in this episode and they never get in trouble. It really angers me off to see Brian get arrested for something as minor as pot when the same cops let Peter get off scot-free when they knew he was getting rid of a cat he murdered. I looked up some information and it's true that weed is less harmful than marajuana, but I still don't think it should be legalized. Carter wants to make pot illegal again only because he's making less money. The worst part is that he broke his promise to Brian and didn't hold up his end of the deal to sell Brian's novel. And Peter got away with killing Quagmire's cat in the end. This episode also never wants to tell us why pot is bad and should be illegal, because the scene skips to the last line of Brian's song that made pot illegal again.
