As an indie horror film, ELDER ISLAND is dead on arrival. It possesses a decent video cover and that's about it. The plot is about a small community haunted by the spirit of a murderous preacher who will give them no rest. A film crew show up to investigate the legend and the story goes from there, with some of them being offed by the spirit. It's a very murky film, slow moving in the extreme, and completely predictable to boot. There really are no reasons to tune in.
