Winter metaphorically is the final stages of life. In a small town, the older folks who have dementia are being euthanized by a serial euthanizer. Detective Ryan Barnes (Matt Hookings) is on the case. His wife is in a coma from a drunk driver who is also the prime suspect.
We do get to see the killer who is thin and runs like a gazelle. The film is a slow-moving drama about "letting go." The problem is the message was lost or confounded by design. This is more on the order of a Lifetime film.
