Despite the powerful gravitas of Frank Sinatra and the awesome beauty of Raquel Welch, this movie is a dud. The humor is flat, the story is dull and the sixties mood is all wrong.
Sinatra is there in body only... and you can't blame him. Every scene is just awful and the horrible 'royalty free' jive music is just annoying.
Richard Conte (as the police detective) is the only actor who seems to be taking his role seriously. Lots of 'bimbos' to drool over and some appalling gay stereotypes to cringe at.
Ironically, at the 75 minute mark, there's a jazzy instrumental version of 'You Make Me Feel So Young' playing in a bar!
If you love 'Ol Blue Eyes, save your own eyes from this stinker.
