21 November 2004. The unplausible plot and the stretch of material makes this kiddy movie difficult to even define. Definitely not in the same league as any Spy Kid though the trailer is suggestive of some hi-tech gimmicks. Overall this movie is a big let down for misleading advertising leading one to expect one type of movie only to lose itself in another kind of movie. The somewhat decent ending can't save this slow, overly thin movie that includes even a dumb security guard that's even dumber than the one in Mannequin. From go-carts, to saving father, to bank robberies, to the unlikely set of three kids without super abilities makes for a lame movie that plods along, stitched together by a script that holds together only through one scene to another scene. Not recommended. Four out of Ten Stars.
