If you don't want too much, you can get along just by reading stories. But when you think about it carefully, there are many unsatisfactory places, irrelevant details, patchwork characters and far-fetched logic. Especially in the final explanatory paragraph, it is simply a complete break of the original few suspense and plot, to the cliff of soap opera ruthlessly kicked down.
