Michael Welch is a better actor than Lifetime standard more subtle and believable so when he's in it the movie isn't a waste of time. A girl is attacked in her home by a masked assailant. A very on the ball Detective investigates her case and protects her. Is he too into her? Her colleague and ex and her bff are a little suspicious when he spends too much time around her. Things unfold at a good pace. The only problem is the ending isn't that logical. After shooting the colleague it's strange he would have not been under investigation. There's a bit of female empowerment here in the way she tries to takes things into her own hands. A little twist at the end keeps things different.
