This reminded me of John Cassavettes' films where the movie is real time about people socializing. It was exaggerated with drama about the people's multiple relationships. It was pretty entertaining, though. There was the square character who basically was belittled. There was an annoying birthday photographer. There was a fight between two bands who showed up to the birthday party. It was not a great movie, but I felt that it was entertaining.
