I take offence to the reviewer who described people as mentally ill who enjoy movies like this!!!!! It's an extremely harsh remark and totally unnecessary to undermine a person who enjoys escapism movies.
Keep your low minded opinions to yourself n you know who you are!!!!! Disgraceful n get of a true movie site where we share views on films we see n do not call us mentally ill!!!!!!!! Shameful!!!!!!!!!
I finally finished watching maniac n it is very unnerving but it is a horror film which is escapism n would never happen in the real world. It's cleverly written n meant to entertain horror fans n if you don't like horror then why choose to watch it?
Hats off to Elija Wood for a first class creepy performance.
