Great visuals, and they match the somber tone of the 17th century setting and story. Nice performances from the three women in the cast too. Was just put off a bit by the overall gloom and the ending, which veers into the old territory of woman as tempter. Also, regardless of the intention of her actually believing she's a witch (another way of revealing a world of religious ignorance and superstition?), it left a bad taste in my mouth.
