I think the show, as a whole, is funny, refreshing and challenging. It takes a group of students of all differences and shows how they can work together to accomplish something. They are better than someone elses preconceived idea of "losers".
However, they missed a great opportunity to address a very important issue that was brought to light, but glossed over.
The Coach is an alcoholic. He is drinking on the job. THIS IS WRONG and should not have been allowed to continued. It basically tells kids that it's ok - I have a job so I can do what I want to do.
NO. Coach has a problem. He needs help and someone should have spoken up not only on behalf of the kids, but he, himself.
