Brilliant British prison drama series aimed at a young audience
29 June 2019
Absolutely brilliant British teen prison series. Acting from all cast is absolutely spot on and some very talented young actors. The actors throughout cannot and should not be criticised, but applauded for their hardwork and dedication. This is a British prison series of young female offenders. I would advise the audience is aimed at teenagers and young adults (similar audience preference as the teenage drama series Skins). It is unfair and illogical to compare the series to other already existing prison series. The purpose of a new series is simply that it is new, and not to recreate already existing prison series. There are very limitted prison series based in Britain and this is one of the fee which has been created extremely efficiently and affectively. The scenes throughout remained accurate and realistic. Many aspects created an eye opening realisation for the young audience by demonstrating how easily people can get onto the wrong side of the law having ever lasting lifelong impact on lives. Not only is this a very talented enjoyable series for a young audience (advised 16 years plus), but also somewhat educational. I will be extremely disappointed if a further series isn't brought out. It is time the actors and the series itself was given the recognition that is so clearly deserves!
