Jayd Johnson was the central character in the Field of Blood Series, this being the second installment. David Morrissey of Walking Dead fame plays the part of a Newspaper Editor. Peter Capaldi, recently Doctor Who, was also in the first series. In the first series she was a "copy boy" for a small newspaper near Glasgow, Scotland. In this series she is an aggressive reporter/journalist. In both series she is a person who tries to resolve crimes as a news person and at the same time do the right thing for her family that she lives with. The only unfortunate issue was the fact that both series were only two episodes. And equally disappointing is the fact that the talented Jayd Johnson has not appeared in anything since.
