Nice try, shame about the script

Warning: Spoilers
OFFICE UPRISING is yet another juvenile zombie comedy in which a normal office becomes the battleground for a zombie outbreak caused by contaminated energy drinks. It's as ridiculous as it sounds, not helped by a script which focuses solely on the low brow and ends up becoming quickly tiresome as a result. Brendan Thwaites' cocky hero is an annoyance rather than an asset, and poor old Jane Levy is wasted in a one-note joke role dragged out endlessly. The film does boast a fast running time and plenty of zombie action and bloodshed, and you do notice that the action choreography is well designed with some great stunts thrown in; the FX aren't too shabby either. A pity the script couldn't equal them, then.
