Warning: Spoilers
In "The Plaza System" Miguel travels around Mexico gathering up partners for his idea of an alliance. Kiki runs a raid that turns out to be a failure but has a gut feeling that he was right about the warehouse and continues to stake it out.

Miguel has his big meeting to finalize the pact that will make everyone a lot of money and reduce violence. Unfortunately his boss refuses to bury the hatchet with am old nemesis and ruins the entire thing. As Miguel leaves with his boss to be executed for his failure, the cops pull the car over and shoot the head honcho and his lackey. Don Neto has backstabbed their Plaza boss as he sees a better opportunity with Miguel and the government agents agree. Miguel spares the driver of the car who agrees to work under him. His name? Chapo.

This episode took a while to pick up steam but goes barreling into the finale. This episode isn't that well directed though. Some of the shots are just far too dark and the plot is a bit slow. Chapo's introduction is laughably heavy-handed as well.

I liked the meetings we sat in on and the twist with Don Neto picking a side. This episode was a good building block, nothing more.
