All round pretty awful little musical teen movie. The only downside being the totally miscast lead actor, and his whiny little self obsessed character. Me me me when he visits his ''best" friend who's father just passed away incidentally. Literally incidental. No one cares. WTF??
Oh and the band puts together a smash hit performance of a complex modified cover that they've never practiced. Oh and whiny lead singer... At least they don't win. Oh, sorry, they win Bowie's admiration. For a crap cover...
