It aint a real comedy, it aint a real gangster movie either. It wants to be quirky and cool, but it's merely a failed attempt at that. Leading actor is flat and boring.

What a waste of talent: Oscar Isaac, Elijah Wood, Kristen Wiig, the latter two only have a very small supporting role of less than 5 minutes. Still, these are brilliant actors, but they are miscast. The wrong roles, for the wrong person in the wrong story. Let's talk BRIEFLY about the story: there basically is none. No one goes on a murder rampage, killing innocent people, who had nothing to do with the murder of the dog to begin with. Even a comedy has to have some credibility. This one has none.

Is it all bad? Not right away. At the start, it has potential to become something good, because the actors are still good, the intent to make something special was present as well. It simply didnt happen. But it gets worse, because this movie gets worse and worse further into the story. It is meant to be funny, but it simply isnt. It aint shocking either. Nor quirky or strange. It is simply another FAILED attempt at making a Tarantino copy...
