Following the end of 'At Last The 1948 Show', the cast went their separate ways and appeared in shows of their own. John Cleese and Graham Chapman became stars of 'Monty Python's Flying Circus', Tim Brooke Taylor became one of the cast of 'The Goodies' whilst Marty Feldman achieved his own show entitled simply 'It's Marty'.

The amusing vehicle for the frog eyed comic was in keeping with the style of the aforementioned shows, with even a feel of 'The Benny Hill Show' to it, with its zany skits ( many of which were filmed in sped-up motion ) reliant very much on slapstick.

One of Feldman's regular players was John Junkin, whom would usually end up a nervous wreck after being in Marty's presence. Many of the funniest and best remembered sketches included 'The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Golfer' ( a farcical piece featuring Marty as a randy, as well as accident prone, golfer ), 'A Day In The Life Of A Stuntman' ( a slapstick piece which could easily have been written for Benny Hill ), 'A Long Day's Night' had Marty making love to different women all over the world right under his nagging wife's nose. The best of all was 'Lightning Tours' which had Marty taking a rather rushed tour around London.

'It's Marty' was a hit but unfortunately nowadays seems to have vanished off the face of the earth, what is even more saddening is very little of if is left in the archives. Much of it was thankfully compiled onto a DVD entitled 'The Best Of Marty Feldman'.
