Well I learned one thing, indirectly, as a result of watching this. I'd expected a long period of "normality", interrupted by a short manic episode; but it turns out an "episode" is more like a "season", as it will generally last a number of months. So Genevieve is in a manic state for the entirety of this.

I found it strange that Genevieve is supposed to be musically-talented, but Odessa Young (the actor who plays Genevieve) is a very poor pretend piano/keyboard player. Perhaps it doesn't matter in the scheme of things, but it struck me as a poor piece of casting.

I didn't find Genevieve to be a sympathetic character. Perhaps that's the point: that her bipolar disorder leads her to behave in ways which make her unsympathetic? But I didn't feel I got anything of value, directly, from watching this.
