Anyone who thinks the ending sucked or it ended on a cliff hanger wasn't paying attention. The ending was the most fantastic true to character ending I have ever seen.
When given the choice to go home or continue traveling to make things better Sam. Our sweet dear man Sam sacrificed himself for the good of others. Cue ugly cry through that entire episode. I mean I would have been mad if he chose to go home because it would have been so out of character.
