This was really good!

Warning: Spoilers
This film is much more in the spirit of the books that I read when I was a kid. There are a number of differences, of course: Hannah is Nancy's aunt, not simply the housekeeper. Nancy has no boyfriend, but there is a hint of a possible romance with young Deputy Patrick in the future.

The plot revolves around Nancy and her friends, along with "frenemy" Helen, investigating Helen's aunt Flora's haunted house. Meanwhile, Nancy's dad, lawyer Carson Drew, is an opponent of a proposed train line through town. Both plots run in parallel until late in the film, when it comes out that the proponents of the train line are behind the "haunting".

I enjoyed this movie much more than I do the CW series, which lacks completely the spirit of the books.
