I think what one can say about one Tinkerbell movie (Peter Pan doesn't count) can be said for all of them.
They are not the pinnacle of Disney excellence but they are all a pretty safe. If you want to hedge your bets and find a movie you can watch with your little sister (or brother, I'm a male myself) then these are worth being familiar with.
Although TInk herself has a design that translates awkwardly to CGI, watch you can count on is majestic world building, rich scenery, several sexy girls with with those enchanting American accents, a swell sense of humour and a life affirming message in the end. They do not over stay their welcome either.
You know what you're in for from the very title. They're made on a conveyor belt to satisfy little girls (yes, they're targeting girls no matter how much us boys enjoy them) in that short span of time after they've learned to talk and before they discover what make up is.
But it's a superior conveyor belt and is at the very worst a distraction that won't leave a sour taste in your mouth.
