Warning: Spoilers
Set in a time period from late 60's to early ninetees, when naxalism was at it's peak, Hazaaron Khwaishen aisi(Meaning thousand such desires) is a story about three collage friends with different paths. The time period is not important to the storyline, it's basically about these three only.

One is Vikram, son of an honest congressman from a middle class family. One is Siddarth, who leaves his super rich dad to join the rebillion against the existing government . One is a girl named Geeta. Vikram is secretly in love with Geeta. But Geeta and Siddarth are in love with each. Infact, Geeta joins the movement just for him. As it is clear from the title, Vikram still yearns for him and tries to get her somehow even after she is married to someone else .

Spoiler part

What's good - Vikram, who was never interested in the rebillion comes out to be the one hurted the most from it. Geeta, who joined the rebillion for Siddarth makes it her own interest. And Siddarth, who was dutyful towards villager, leaves the struggle and starts practicing medicine. . Drama is created slowly but story gets better with each passing minute. Though at times, it seems to be lost.

What's not - While watching the film, you never feel anything. I didn't love or hate any of the characters. The story runs just flat. And there are too many subplots which don't serve any purpose but only distract.
