One white, one black, one blond - These are the three individuals who make up the "Mod Squad", a trio of young undercover cops who were supposed to speak to the counterculture generation of that era (circa. late-1960s).
Even though "Mod Squad" is (apparently) widely regarded as being a groundbreaking, socially relevant TV drama - I found a lot of its episodes (even in this first season) to be painfully tedious, predictable, and, yes, literally, light years away from being at all "hip" (or, should I say "groovy"?).
And, with that said - I don't think that "Mod Squad" is worthy of more than a 4-star rating.
