Community's ending fit the shows tone perfectly

Warning: Spoilers
Before last week I had no idea about this show besides the Chang memes that roamed the internet back then. After a 6 season binge watch I hesitated to even start the final episode. I tried to slow myself with the seasons but I just couldn't stop because of how well the characters and episodes were (except the gas leak year). But it all comes full circle this episode. The gang are allowed to daydream what their version of season 7 (year 7) would be. Each persons version of season 7 fits their personalities and motivations as a character perfectly. It's all silly thoughts until it's Jeff's turn which is when the emotional levels of the episode hit. Until Annie arrived with news that she would have to move for an internship at the FBI, that's when Jeff starts to take season 7 seriously. Having not wanting to be part of he study group at the start of the show, he sees the study group as his family and the never ending thought that he will be the last one left in the group while everyone eventually will leave him and be replaced except for him. He takes the thought of season 7 seriously and asks everyone to try and get jobs at Greendale like him but Annie and Abed have to decline due to their personal lives and he leaves in panic of that people would eventually leave. Jeff and Annie reunite at 'study room f' and finally kiss but are unable to be together under the circumstances. The show doesn't give the satisfaction of them being together because it would be too predictable so they the heartbreaking kiss satisfies enough with Chang revealing that he is 'legit gay' within a group hug. At the airport Jeff drops off Annie and Abed but decides to hug Abed twice showing how thankful he is for Abed and reminding the audience that he was really his first friend when he started at Greendale. Community was really one of the most creative shows and experimental of its time and most definitely was streets ahead than other shows. The finale will hit you in the feels because of how far these characters have come.
