I tend to dislike religious based movie dramas. The reason is that they tend to be corny, biased with bad writing and acting. This is not the case for this movie for Lifetime. There are a lot of messages, and enough for everyone to relate. Anger, racism, sorrow, self-pity, generosity and a host of a few other obvious gems.

I like this movie because Kim Fields, C. Thomas Howell, and Richard Jones bring their big time Hollywood experience to a not so common quality family story that is made believable and uplifts the remaining supporting cast.

The story is predictable, but you can't wait to see it all come together.
