I have to say that much of the story, and Jack in particular seemed a bit creepy! I think it was intended to make the plot more of a mystery, but I actually found it distracting and annoying. Also, having grown up in MA and visiting Cape Cod, I was confused about the setting of this film when they mentioned it was "Provincetown," especially after a mention of Boston at the beginning. I guess it's supposed to be a fictional town in Virginia, though...oh well.
