Princess Protection Program is not the best DCOM.The whole high school thing with the typical mean girl was too much. And the typical "hot guy" who's a jerk, was just cliché. Demi's country made no sense when the bad guy came in. The fact that she just left when she should be there to protect her country didn't make sense.
It does have some entertainment. The girls relationship is very real and cute. The way Selena's character is standoffish but they find a way to bond was nice. Also that there was no romance but just friendship was refreshing.
The acting wasn't great but not horrible. The story could definitely use some tweaking.
This movie is tolerable but it's not that special.
