I'm not sure why this is considered a horror. It was such a slow burn mellow drama about Ozark folklore. Literally nothing happens until the last 15 mins of the movie. Jim Parrack is the only reason this movie deserves a 4 rating and his role was limited. The lead is horrible. The boy is horrible. Their acting is like reading a script. The "country" accents are atrocious. The background story was weak and lacking. The whole movie was just weak. The only way this movie has a 7 rating is from people involved in it must be rating. No one could possibly think this is a good movie that has good sense.
