This movie had quite an interesting and well-filmed backstory. The male lead had a bit of a savior complex, but that can be forgiven. I have to say it: he might be one of the most beautiful humans I've ever seen.
The creatures were well done. Even when we saw the creatures in full, they were realistic and terrifying.
That said, I really don't know how to feel about suicide endings. The male lead specifically stated that he didn't want her to give up, and then she decided to pulled a Romeo and Juliet.
