This movie is a typical low budget, low quality horror movie. The heroes and heroines were behaving completely irrationally most of the time, so ridiculous so often that I don't want to spoil/repeat those plot details.
I came to this movie because one of the screenplay writers was the director/writer for The Body and The Invisible Guest, both of which are great mystery movies. Unfortunately his contribution here is probably purely technical and restricted to screenplay. The story and directing were both abysmal.
