The motor yacht Pacific Yellowfin is a real 107.1 foot, 234 ton yacht. To operate it commercially requires a different license than a personal pleasure craft. The scenes where it blew the engine were bad. No propulsion or electric? The craft is twin engine propulsion with separate generators for electric power. Many other goofs in this movie. Did they move the Arizona Memorial from Hawaii to San Fran? Navy and Coast Guard viewers will find this movie laughable, if not offensive.
