Despite being a cliché full of conspicuous logical discrepancies - it's a cliché with completely new approach to one of the major plot elements, and logical errors are the hallmark of this genre.
Good cinematography, detailed world-class level CGI and a pleasant overall experience except for the very end of the movie makes up this simple statement:

I lowered my rating from 7 to 6 because of the last 3 minutes of the movie for which would be better if they didn't exist. I also had the feeling that it could've been written much better, potentially resulting in a rating of 8 or more.
