I am born Korean, French adopted. I love Korean movies, not so much the Korean Tv shows as they're often cheesy.
I did enjoy watching Fresh off the boat as it had a Malcom vibe and deliberately play with the Chinese stereotypes.
This serie though, has been very painful to watch.
I know it's supposed to be a comedy, but I find the characters too hysterical and extreme, there's no half measure. And it's obviously not better with the forced and strong accents. I've seen Korean movies in which they speak better English.
Maybe it's what the Korean community is like in the USA, but I feel like it's a bit too much, forced and cliché, but maybe I'm just wrong...
Well, you might enjoy it, but you might also not get into it....
