Entertaining drama with strong Lie Kaas
12 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
A film with Denmarks best actor Nikolaj Lie Kaas can hardly go wrong. Not in this family drama either. This film deals with the conflicts in the wave after a separation, and high emotions rise to an unpleasent level. Lie Kaas is perfect cast as a family man who are in the process of loosing the most valuable he has; contact with his daughter. The film gives also an insight into how different those in the network reacts, with devastating results. It also shows how the system works against a loving father who fights for his rights. This is a strong drama, but without the strong cast it would not have been so good, the script / story does not feel so new . We have seen this kind of drama on film before. It's the acting that lifts this to a film I can recommend.
