This might have been edgy in the early 60's. However, the elephant in the room - abortion by a seeming Catholic brings no drama! Granted, we may not have predicted the divorce boom at this time, but I greatly dislike the 'Hollywoodization' of the prospects of a (more or less) shotgun wedding.
Steve McQueen may have been cool, but boy, he couldn't pull off comedy! I think 6 stars out of 10 is generous, based more on seeing the 2 stars as well as some extras who were unknown at the time
