Reading Jessy Schram's biography and trying to understand how was she even considered for anything other than diapers commercial? Her "intangible star quality" is not just intangible; it's also non-existent. I suppose fake-smiling for "print campaigns" which, according to her own biography, she had so much success with as a "child model", is a tad easier than creating a believable character on screen. Sexy treacherous blonde is SUCH a tiresome character even if played by a talented actress. When played by... THIS, it's outright intolerable. Especially when we have to believe that she can deceive not only two teenagers but also their dad and other adults.

Back to the studio, 9-year-old boy runs around with an automatic assault rifle, gets sent to rescue adult women in the basement, "saves lives", and generally behaves like NO other 9-year-old on this planet. Maybe he's an alien, too, who knows, it's only the second season. The "master" alien looks like an unfinished drawing - CGI geeks get an indisputable FAIL. (Couldn't Spielberg call Cameron and ask for help?) The annoying "it's all my fault - oh, no, it's not" dialogues are growing older by the minute. All highways in America are narrow, unpaved and incredibly muddy. Nurse Perfect Hair found a stethoscope, hooray! Patton got himself a cane and walks around with grace and elegance of a drunk London dandy. Plot development - WHO?
