I love the premise of this story. But found myself irritated with some aspects of it. Cat was too flaky and emotional to be believable as a cop. Why wasn't Vincent used as a CI to help keep him hidden? Why was "lying" used to build so much suspicion between characters? Vincent was way too impulsive to not be caught earlier. The story line was great but the love story didn't give enough time to really develop deeper. For a character to be hiding why didn't Vincent use more disguises. He was far too visible too early. And that was just the 1st season. 2nd season Cat was delusional and a dingbat, especially for a detective. I think if this show had been built up more as a detective show it could have been more engaging. Unless all you were interested is was attracting 18 and younger audiences. I'm 63 and watching this on Netflix. The wedding episodes were so botched they were ridiculous. You could have done them without Vincent being "photographed" at all. Why keep playing into Heather's curiosity? Why did Cat have to keep apologizing for other people's stupidity? All the "lying" just wasn't called for.
