I mean, the movie is not all bad - i guess it's worth it, but there is no good witch amongst the bad (like in the original) so as a kid at that time it showed me some "good in the bad", a smell of hope. And at the end i was waiting for the mice to be children again and.... it never came! It certainly doesn't end on a high note.
