I deeply enjoy all the Toy Story flicks, so when I discovered this little tv special, I was hoping foolishly for the same kind of quality. In all honesty, its not that great. It has some generic moments, Pricklepants is kind of annoying, and it has a few rather corny moments. However, I did find it entertaining throughout, and it did have some good messages and character development with Jessie- even if its plot just seemed like a shorter copy off of the second film. In the end, there are much better Halloween shorts to watch with the kiddos. Surprisingly Dreamwork's specials Scared Shrekless and Mutant Pumpkins From Outer Space actually prove to be a much better, and original time. However, if you are looking for something simple and easy to watch, as well as something familiar, it certainly isn't a bad choice.
