Why would they release a film about a white cop that 'unnecessarily' kills a black man, not even a year after the Breanna Taylor and George Floyd incidents? To make it worse, the cop in the film pleads guilty...WTAF! Do they not watch the news?
Maybe I'm missing the point, but it's in real bad taste IMO.
It's like releasing a film a few months after 9/11, about a highjacked plane that crashes into an American building, killing hundreds...but the terrorists all hand themselves in and admit guilt in court!
