I don't understand why in the world this movie is called Charming. First of all, Meredith is anything but charming. She's a roaring B-word. Not likable in any way. Because of this, it doesn't make any sense that Nick, whether he's Santa or not, would spend even a second of his time on the likes of someone like her. She's unbelievably off putting. He's charming. But why is he attracted to her? What could he possibly see in her? Let him find a woman who is his match from day one. Not one that he has to pry a smile out of and look for a decent personality. Let her go and curdle her eggnog with the vinegar that is her soul and leave all of us alone. This woman is Debbie Downer on nasty pills.
