Cringe, Barf and Repeat
15 December 2020
It had potential in the beginning... but then it quickly revealed itself to be empty and cast by "actors" without range... a story plot that is tacky, predictable and probably should've been targeted to an audience of 13 & below. When all else fails, they attempted to insert sex scenes that were not remotely hot, exciting or thrilling.. everything about the show lacks heart. Aside from the dancing, it offers nothing.. nothing at all. By episode two I was on my 100th cringe... between the machismo from one of the dancers who can't fit the shoes of a bad boy claiming "his" block in a ridiculous street brawl, and his on screen romance with another one of the dancers that borders on the non-consensual, I literally just couldn't.. it's all so forced. It should've been left on the SeanCody editing floor. Their backstories are so petty that it's impossible to get invested into any of it. A show so vacuous that it makes Keeping Up With the Kardashians seem like Shakespeare. The only difference is that their show should still be on the air.. Tiny Pretty Things shouldn't; Black Swan you are not, Goodbye!
